The D Line extension opened 8 May 2026 with stations at Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax, and Wilshire/La Cienega. It puts the edge of Beverly Hills 20 minutes from downtown with no transfers past 7th Street — a trip that used to be a 40-minute Uber each way.
